Located in the heart of prolific Montréal, Concordia University is a young power in the eastern hemisphere of Canadian universities [1]. The school is positively massive, boasting two campuses (Montréal (Main), Loyola), but 135 offered programs, and over 46,000 students [1]. Founded only in 1974, ConcordiaU has several different faculties of studies, including (but not limited to): education, engineering, science, fine arts, computer science, business, graduate studies, and more [2]. Their athletics department is represented by the “Stingers”, and their mascot is Buzz [3]. Originally, Concordia was two separate institutions (Loyola College, and Sir George Williams University); the pair were eventually merged in 1974 and now the original single campuses have combined as two campuses for one school [5]. Due to ConcordiaU’s location in Québec and French history, the university is officially bilingual (both French, and English are supported) [3]. As well, over their lengthy tenure, ConcordiaU has gained a respectable number of affiliations including: IAU, AUCC, QSSF, CUSID, etc. [3].
