SIMON FRASER UNIVERSITY
McMaster University is located in Hamilton, and comprises 57 buildings, 122 programs, and over 21 500 students [1]. It was first established in the year 1887 and is split into six different academic facilities: Degroote School of Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science [2] . They’re known as the McMaster Marauders with their mascot named “Mac the Marauder.” The institution is home to over 300 student organizations and clubs, however, they do not recognize any fraternities or sororities [2]. Their main academic policy is known as the “McMaster Model,” which focuses on a student-centred, problem-based, interdisciplinary approach to learning which has been used since the 1960s [2]. Only 3700 students live in twelve on-campus residences with a range of building sizes and dormitory styles [1]. Finally, McMaster University is a member of a group of research intensive Canadian universities known as the U15 [2].

University of Saskatchewan
Located in the biggest city of the prairie province of Saskatchewan, the University of Saskatchewan sits on the bank of the stunning South Saskatchewan River [1]. USaskatchewan is fairly medium sized, with one main campus, 23,575 students enrolled, and 131 programs offered [1]. Established in 1907, the school has added many faculties to their roster, including: agriculture, arts, education, dentistry, business, engineering, environmental studies, graduate studies, kinesiology, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, and more [2]. The athletics department are united under the common name “Saskatchewan Huskies”, and their mascot is “Howler the Husky” [3,4]. The school has a vast pool of clubs to choose from, with over 130 options and all manner of subjects, as well as several volunteer opportunities, and a plethora of places for students to hangout, there is rarely a dull moment for those who seek entertainment [5]. USaskatchewan has had many notable alumni, including (but not limited to): John Diefenbaker, two nobel laureates, three supreme court justices, and ten provincial/territorial premiers [6]. Over 2,200 USaskatchewan students live in residence; accommodations for couples/families in certain apartments exist too [1]. Affiliations include: AUCC, UArctic, ACU, CARL, CUP, CBIE, IAU, etc. [7].
