SIMON FRASER UNIVERSITY
McMaster University is located in Hamilton, and comprises 57 buildings, 122 programs, and over 21 500 students [1]. It was first established in the year 1887 and is split into six different academic facilities: Degroote School of Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science [2] . They’re known as the McMaster Marauders with their mascot named “Mac the Marauder.” The institution is home to over 300 student organizations and clubs, however, they do not recognize any fraternities or sororities [2]. Their main academic policy is known as the “McMaster Model,” which focuses on a student-centred, problem-based, interdisciplinary approach to learning which has been used since the 1960s [2]. Only 3700 students live in twelve on-campus residences with a range of building sizes and dormitory styles [1]. Finally, McMaster University is a member of a group of research intensive Canadian universities known as the U15 [2].

University of Windsor
Located in green Windsor, Ontario, the aptly named University of Windsor stands, ever since 1857 [1]. With one main campus, 16,000 students, and 110 programs offered, UoW is no small institution [1]. Faculties include: arts, humanities, social sciences, education, engineering, graduate studies, human kinetics, law, nursing, business, and science [2]. UoW’s mascot is “Winston the Lancer”, the herald of the “Windsor Lancers” of the athletics department [3,4]. An outstanding 150+ students groups/clubs administered by the UWSA (University of Windsor Students’ Alliance), and supported by Lancer Recreation are offered at UoW; athletics, academics, culture, interests, and many other categories mean you’re likely to find something you’ll enjoy [5, 6]. Originally, UoW was a small liberal arts college called “Assumption College”; later on in 1963, they merged with Essex College, Canterbury College, Iona College, and Holy Redeemer College to become UoW [7]. UoW is very active in their community, with their students volunteering over 1.2 million hours of service [7]. Affiliations include: AUCC, IAU, COU, CBIE, CUP, CARL, and more [8].
