UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH

The University of Guelph, UofG, is a 4 campus (Guelph, Kemptville, Ridgetown, and Alfred), 100 program, 20,500 student institution situated in Ontario [1]. First established in 1964, UofG has 7 faculties (Colleges as they refer to them), that include a College of Arts, and of Biological Science [2]. The schools colours are red, black, and gold, and their various sports teams like swimming, soccer, and baseball, for both female, and males, are led by their mascot; Gryph, the Gryphon [2]. UofG is home to 3 fraternities, and 2 sororities [3], but other than greek life the students partake in fun community activities like pep rally’s, and when you need to wind down, and get some work done the six-story, 400 computer, Mclaughlin Library is open to students, and faculty, and receives millions of visitors all year round [2]. Finally, the University of Guelph is a member of a group of research intensive Canadian universities known as the U15 [2].
